Super Skunk

Super Skunk is the result of crossing a Skunk #1 plant with a pure, ancient land-race Afghani hash plant. In its forst year of commercial availability it won the Indica Cup at the 1990 HTCC. It is a highly vigorous, potent and aromatic cannabis strain.

Super Skunk is a fast-flowering, 80% indica strain that needs just 45 – 50 days to finish when grown indoors where some kind of air-filtration is recommended on account of the pungent aroma exuded in the flowering phase. It will also flourish outdoors in Mediterranean-type climates where it will be ready to harvest before the end of September. Yields are very large from these medium-sized plants. It is a really reliable strain that displays remarkable consistency even with plants that are grown from seed. Towards the end of flowering the calyxes just continue to pile up on top of one another giving the appearance of highly-swollen buds laden with crystals.

The aroma is Skunk-like with an added earthiness and the effect is very powerful with the initial strong hit slowly evolving into a more relaxing state.
